After interviewing a number of contractors to build our new home, we hired Glenn Farrell (YFI Custom Homes) in November of2009.
Our home is unique with it’s own set of building challenges. Geo thermal heating and cooling, radiant heat, drainage concerns were just a sampling. We were also very specific in what we wanted, how we wanted it, and extremely particular about what would or would not happen with our house. We felt that Glenn had a good handle on what we were looking for AND could work harmoniously with us.
Glenn and his staff realized the challenge before them on all of those counts and not only built a beautiful, solid home but also dealt with us calmly and always professionally, particularly when we informed him we wanted to lower the sub floor of the new structure! Where we followed his recommendations, all proved satisfactory at least and excellent at best.
Trust is something that is earned and we learned early on we could put a good deal of trust in Glenn and his staff. Our home was completed in December 2010 and since we do not live there permanently, we trust his “crew” to continue to work on the little things needing to be completed and Glenn to be caretaker of our home during this period. That in itself says a lot!
All in all, we would not hesitate to recommend YFI Custom Homes to anyone seeking the honesty, integrity, professionalism, and QUALITY workmanship for their home that Glenn and company represent.
